Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Hi there and welcome! I am Dietitian Cathryn, a nutrition expert who looks forward to helping you meet your health goals!
My own health journey as a very young girl and young woman has played an enormous role in my pursuit of understanding nutrition’s role in health. I used to suffer from horrible fatigue, stomach issues, hormonal problem, acne/ Rosacea, mood swings and weight gain. I was even diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and thyroid cancer.
Through these experiences, I saw first-hand how disease and metabolism can affect your food choices and health (ie food cravings, skin reactions, hormone irregularities etc). I also learned how your food choices CAN affect disease, metabolism and your overall well-being.
I am always hungry to learn more, so currently I am seeking more education in a field of nutrition and medicine that looks at “food as medicine.” This field is called Functional Medicine and Nutrition.
I would love to answer any questions you might have. Find more information about
